Reschedule or reassign an action
Change the date of an action that will not make it on time, or hand it to someone else, without losing the history of what was promised.
The task in figures

What hurts today.
The date gets overwritten, and nobody knows how many times it moved.
It is reassigned out loud, and the new owner never finds out.
Actions move so often that the date stops meaning anything.
Plans change: an action depends on a spare part that did not arrive, or its owner went on holiday. Rescheduling it well means agreeing the new date with whoever does it and keeping a record that it was promised again; reassigning it means handing it to someone else who accepts it. In a spreadsheet, the date is overwritten, and nobody knows how many times it moved.
Done today with
- In-person meeting
- Spreadsheet
- Email and chat
- Project tool
Each step, today and with Elmira.
In the briefing, Elmira writes down the new date the team agrees, and it applies when the briefing closes. Outside it, the date and the owner are changed in Obeyaka on the web, which keeps that it was promised again and tells the new owner.

The conversation
- Diego, Maintenance lead
Pablo will not make it with the lubrication plan: he should hand it in on the 27th.
I did this:
Noted in the briefing of Maintenance: “Review the lubrication plan”, due on October 27, 2026.
If something is not right, press “Undo” within 24 hours.
The date changes when you close the briefing.
Does this happen to your team?
Book a demo and we will show you Elmira doing this task.
