Lead a DMAIC project
Solve a complex problem with Six Sigma’s five phases: define, measure, analyse, improve and control, with data in each one.

What hurts today.
Each review with the sponsor means building the slides from scratch.
Gathering the data eats up the measure phase.
Once the project is over, nobody watches the control plan, and the result is lost.
For a problem that does not give way to the obvious, a Black Belt leads a DMAIC project over several months: defines the problem and its scope, measures the process and its capability, analyses with statistics which variables explain it, tests and applies the improvements, and leaves a control plan so the result holds. Each phase closes with a review before the sponsor. The analysis needs Minitab and judgment, and the follow-up lives in spreadsheets and slides put together for each review.

Each step, today and with Elmira.
On WhatsApp, Elmira brings you the indicator’s data and carries the improvements as actions, and Obeyaka watches the indicator against its target on its own. With the Value Office, the project is a story with its stages and reviews.

The conversation
No example conversation: the Obeyaka web app does it, or it comes later.

More cases of problem solving
- Gather the problems people on the floor reportWhat is said in the hallway reaches nobody.
- Spot the problems in the indicators’ deviationsPeople react to every number that drops, and none gets solved.
- Keep the list of open problems and their statusThe list lives apart from the plan, and goes stale.
