Keep the procedures up to date after an improvement
When an improvement changes how the work is done, get each affected procedure updated, published and taught.

What hurts today.
The improvement never reaches the procedure, and is lost.
The old version is still at the workstation months later.
Chasing each owner takes weeks.
An improvement that does not reach the procedure is lost with the next change of shift or of people. After each improvement, the engineer checks which procedures it changed, asks each owner to update theirs, gets quality’s approval, publishes the new version, withdraws the old one and tells whoever uses it. It is chasing work: the owners have other priorities, and the old procedure is still at the workstation months later.
Done today with

- In-person meeting
- Spreadsheet
- Email and chat
- Company system
Each step, today and with Elmira.
Elmira gives each owner their update as an action, with a date and when it counts as done, and tells you which ones are missing; when one is late, Obeyaka tells its owner on its own. Publishing and teaching the change are still yours.

- Run the 5S audits and follow up their findingsThe order lasts until the next audit.
- Map a process end to end (SIPOC)“The process” means something different to each person.
