What hurts today.
The OEE arrives when the shift is already over.
Moving the shift sheets into the spreadsheet takes the morning.
People look at the number, not at the losses that explain it.
OEE says what share of a line’s time turns into good product: it multiplies its availability, its performance and its quality. Each shift, the supervisor writes down the stops, the output and the rejects; the analyst moves it into a spreadsheet, works out each line’s and shift’s OEE, rolls up the week and looks for which losses weigh most. It is the number looked at every day, and the one that takes longest to arrive: by the time it is ready, the shift is over.

Each step, today and with Elmira.
The supervisor sends Elmira the shift’s OEE on WhatsApp, and she records it; Obeyaka rolls it up and flags the lines below their target on its own. Analysing the losses is still yours.

And how is line 2 doing this week?
“Raise line 2’s OEE” is at risk: week 42 is at 73.8% so far, and week 41 closed at 74.1%.
